Reading
We are reading Animal Babies in the Grassland this week. Students will continue to learn how to read non-fiction text and be introduced to new vocabulary.
Writing
Writers' workshop will continue as students continue to become better authors by learning to add detail using adjectives and how to make their illustrations more interesting.
Math
We will do some review games this week with the couple days of math we have. Students will take the end of the year math assessment on the computer Tuesday morning.
Science
Habitats and animals! The kids are really getting into this.
Social Studies
Still working on social and emotional skills with the Second Step curriculum and some fun read alouds.
We have our field trip to the zoo on Friday. More details to come mid-week!
