Reading
We are reading Hide Clyde this week. It is a rhyming book about a chameleon. We will be going over plot and retelling a story. We will also read a non-fiction book about chameleons.

Writing
In writers workshop this week I will be using Mo Willems books to give students ideas for when they are making their own books. My teaching points will be focused on getting students to be creative with their words, illustrations, and covers when they publish their own book. The end goal is for their voice to come out in their writing.

Math
Comparing sets. Using subtraction to find the difference. Subtraction facts to AT LEAST 5.

Science
Chameleons. Camouflage. Jungle habitat.

Social Studies
Manners.
