Reading
We are reading Homes Around the Word. We will be practicing using adjectives to describe the different homes.
Writing
Students will be challenged to start writing at least 3 sentences when writing. We will continue to practice using capital/uppercase letters when starting our sentence. We will discuss what is a sentence. Students should be using spaces in between words and ending marks.
Math
Shapes, shapes, shapes. We will learn about solid (3-D) shapes and review flat shapes and learn new vocabulary like cone, cube, cube, sphere (that's a tricky one), cylinder, rectangular prism, face, edge, and corner.
Social Studies
Homes around the word!!!
Phonics
Letter review and vowel focus.
